I am an interdisciplinary artist with a background in video. Over the past years, I have been experimenting with the tension between still and moving images. All the images I use for my projects are representations (photographs) of real subjects, objects, or manifestations. My work is assembled through an analog process that involves developing systems to facilitate the sequencing of hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of images visible in each project. These images are used to compose and reconstruct fictional timeframes that alter and challenge the normative visual perception of time.
